The Peach Freesia Smooth & Hydrate Shampoo was developed for frizzy, dehydrated hair. The formula gently cleanses, helps rebalance moisture levels, and makes hair smoother, softer, and easier to comb.

The Smooth & Hydrate line is based on Hydresia™, a bioactive derived from safflower seeds. The oleosomes contained within are a plant-based alternative to silicones: they release moisture gradually, smooth the hair fiber, hydrate the scalp and hair strands, and help specifically calm frizz. This focus is complemented by moisture-binding agents and botanical extracts that hydrate dry hair fibers and reduce frizz.

• Hydresia™ from safflower oleosomes is the bioactive core of the line. The oleosomes deliver moisture gradually, smooth the hair fiber, hydrate the scalp and lengths, and target frizzy, moisture-deficient hair directly.
• Plant-based hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and betaine form the moisture-binding part of the formula. These humectants attract moisture, retain it in the hair, and support hydration of the scalp and hair.
• Mamaku Black Fern complements the formula with moisturizing, balancing plant care. The New Zealand fern supports scalp health and improves the feel of frizzy, moisture-deficient hair.
• Marula oil, cupuaçu butter, and hydrolyzed jojoba esters enrich the shampoo with nourishing emollients that soften hair, improve combability, and enhance shine.
• Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Lauryl Glucoside, and Decyl Glucoside are plant-based cleansing agents that effectively remove dirt, oil, and residues without drying out or stressing the scalp and hair.

Study data confirms effectiveness: In an in-vivo consumer study with over 600 participants, 154 people used Peach Freesia Shampoo and Conditioner. After two weeks, 82% described their hair as smoother, 90% as softer, and 80% as more hydrated. These results refer to the combined use of shampoo and conditioner. The study was commissioned by Antipodes.

The fragrance profile combines freesia and Japanese white peach with vanilla bean and a subtle accent of star anise. The shampoo smells floral-fruity, soft, and fresh.
